First let me start by apologizing for not blogging for Christmas. I know the grandparents get very anxious when I go too long without blogging. I try! Andrew began walking around Jan. 10(20 months) and we are loving every minute of it. We are soooo proud of our sweet boy. He seems so happy to be walking and is talking away. He began telling us no(ALOT) and shaking his head. He is starting to count 123 when he is prompted. He seems to be catching up quickly. Andrew is not a big eater and is somewhat picky. He may have trouble putting on weight, like his daddy.
We had a wonderful Christmas with our families, but after 3 full days Andrew had enough. It was very stimulating with lots of people and tons of gifts. Andrew got a train set, wagon, table and chairs, and lots of motor vehicles(we did not have enough of those).
Andrew's favs include trains, trucks, cars, airplanes and anything with wheels. Oh, and he does like balloons(ba poons as he calls them). He could pretty much do without the other stuff. Andrew likes to play is water anywhere he cans get his hands in. He now goes up the stairs into the bathroom and hikes his leg up on the bathtub. He LOVES his baths.
We keep a pretty busy social calendar with music class, therapy and lots of friends. Oh, and we like the mall play areas on cold rainy days.
We are playing to put Andrew in Mother's Day Out 1 day a week next year. I think he will love it.
